Add scryTome to Your Discord Server
Invite scryTome for Return of Reckoning population, kill, zone, scenario, guild, and war report commands.
To add scryTome to your Discord server, follow these steps:
- Click the "Invite scryTome" button below.
- Log in to your Discord account if prompted.
- Select the server where you want to add the bot.
- Review and grant the necessary permissions.
- Click "Authorize" to add the bot to your server.
Sending a Private Message to the Bot
Once the bot is added to your server, you can send it a private message:
- In Discord, click on the bot's username in the member list of your server.
- This will open the bot's profile. Click on the "Message" button.
- A direct message (DM) window will open. Type your message and press Enter to send.
Note: Ensure that your privacy settings allow DMs from server members. To check this:
- Right-click on the server name in Discord.
- Select "Privacy Settings".
- Toggle the "Allow direct messages from server members" option as needed.
Talking to scryTome in an Open Channel
To interact with scryTome in a public channel, mention it in a message using @scryTome followed by your command. Public channel commands have a 60-second cooldown per command and channel. Public commands include:
@scryTome population- Display overall population. (alias pop)@scryTome popt1- Display population just for T1. (alias t1pop)@scryTome popt2- Display population just for T2+. (alias t2pop)@scryTome popt4- Display population just for T4. (alias t4pop)@scryTome poprr60- Display population of RR60+. (aliases rr60pop, poprr60+)@scryTome poprr80- Display population of RR80+. (alias rr80pop, poprr80+)@scryTome popall- Display population percentages across all tiers. (alias allpop)@scryTome orvr- Show oRvR kills and active zones. (aliases openrvr, rvr, rvrkills)@scryTome scs- Show scenario kills, wins, and active scenarios. (aliases scenarios, sc, sckills)@scryTome zones- Show active zones. (alias active)@scryTome guilds- Display guilds seen around oRvR kills. (alias guild)@scryTome kills- Show oRvR and scenario kill totals. (alias action)@scryTome warreport- Display the war report. (alias report)@scryTome help- Display help message and available commands.
Using Slash Commands
scryTome also supports Discord's slash commands. To use these commands:
- Type "/" in any text channel to see a list of available commands.
- Select a command from the list, such as
/help,/population,/popt1,/popt2,/popt4,/poprr60,/poprr80,/popall,/orvr,/scs,/zones,/warreport,/kills, or/guilds. - Run the command; these public commands do not require extra parameters.
- The bot will respond directly in the channel with the requested information.
Slash commands are available in both public channels and via direct messages. Text aliases work when mentioning scryTome in a public channel or when messaging it directly.
